New ASPHALT DRIVEWAY installation consists of removal of old asphalt (when necessary)and any loom grass ,or other inadequate material .Installation of processed gravel ( recycled crushed asphalt) graded and rolled between 4" to 8" as needed for a strong foundation.Then 3" of commercial grade hot asphalt top is spread with an asphalt paving machine,then machined rolled with an asphalt compaction roller.Some asphalt driveways are done in two lifts with one layer of asphalt binder and one layer of asphalt top.Two layer asphalt driveways require more material and more time and labor and are built for heavier traffic such as parking lots and roadways.We would be happy to discuss which asphalt application would be best suited for your needs when you call for a free consultation and estimate.
ASPHALT RESURFACING can be done on qualifying pavements with 1.5" to 2"of new asphalt compacted and rolled.The process consists of sweeping,leveling to grade and then paving with new asphalt.Not all pavements can be resurfaced though,the exsisting pavement must be solid with minimal settlement and cracks.Otherwise it will not support the resurface.Another requirement is that grade clearence at the front of garages or doors must be able to fit the new layer of asphalt ,to allow for drainage pitch.If it can be done we always
