A:Sealcoat is a rubberized heavy duty emulsion coating that protects,beautifies and prolongs the life of asphalt pavements.

Q: Why should I Sealcoat?

A: .Sealcoating forms a tough barrier on the pavement surface,keeping the asphalt pliable.It stops oxidation which causes pavement to become gray and brittle causing pre-mature failure.

Q: How often should I have sealcoat applied?

A: Sealcoating should be applied every 2 to 3 years, the first application should be applied 6 to 12 months after new pavement installation.New asphalt needs that time to cure before sealing.

Q: How is sealcoating applied?

A: First the pavement is cleaned and blown off to remove debrie,then sealer is applied with a squeegie or sprayed with high tech sealer equipment.

A: Usualy 24 hours is sufficient time before allowing traffic and the ideal time to sealcoat is when the temperature is 50 or above and no rain is being forcasted.
